GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Falls’ old water tower (built in 1937 and in service nearly 90 years) will be demolished starting Monday, Jan. 5 as crews set up the site and a crane for teardown with removal starting Jan. 9 until completion in February. Minor traffic delays are expected on Capital Avenue. East Idaho News

- ➤ The snow park opened Wednesday for the New Year in Bone, offering winter fun on three tube runs that stretch 1200-ft downhill. Located at 207 Bone Road in Iona, the park provided tubes, bathrooms, a conveyor ride and fire pits as guests slid into winter. KXPI
