- ➤ Two North Dakota snowmobilers became stranded in the Schneider Creek area near Island Park on Saturday, Jan. 10 and were rescued by Fremont County Search and Rescue and Clark County Search and Rescue; both riders and their snowmobiles returned safely to the trailhead by 1:00 a.m. KXPI

- ➤ In Island Park, local tourism businesses report a rare snow drought leaving attractions with less snow than seen since the 80s. High Mountain Adventures has seen a mild decline in riders despite early season reservations that support the winter season. KXPI
