- ➤ KIFI Local News 8 celebrated its 65th anniversary on Friday when the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at 1915 N. Yellowstone Highway to honor the station that first aired on Jan. 23, 1961; Gov. Brad Little and Mayor Lisa Burtenshaw issued proclamations recognizing its service. East Idaho News

- ➤ The College of Eastern Idaho is nearing completion of its Battelle Energy Alliance Future Tech building that will host programs in cybersecurity, mechatronics, energy systems, and surgical technology. Officials will receive keys in July to prepare the new space for fall classes. KXPI

- ➤ Today the Idaho Supreme Court heard arguments on Parental Choice Tax Credits, a program signed Feb. 27 that gives families up to 5,000 (or 7,500 for special needs) for non-public school expenses; attorneys for Idaho Education Association and Moscow School District urged blocking it, citing a drain on public schools. - ➤ Gov. Little signed a proclamation recognizing Community Risk Reduction Week at the state capitol on Jan. 20.
