- ➤ Idaho Falls firefighters Travis Adams & Jeremy F. Newman rescued four occupants during a canal incident on Oct. 5, 2025, after a collision sent a car into water; two victims later died. They will be honored with the Idaho Medal of Honor at a ceremony in Boise on Sept. 1. KXPI
- ➤ United Way of Eastern Idaho held its Power of 10 online fundraiser on Thursday, March 5 to help cover weekend meals for elementary students. The event provided food bags through its Ready. Set. GO! program for 200+ kids in the community. KXPI

- ➤ Idaho Transportation Department warned drivers after snowplow collisions occurred at the Malad rest area and on I-15 near Blackfoot Wednesday night—no injuries were reported. KXPI

- ➤ Longtime mountain manager Zack Alexander and his wife Crystal bought Pomerelle Ski Resort, which had been family-owned since 1974, ensuring the local ski area stays true to its heritage.
