  • Six Idaho Falls firefighters were honored last week for saving lives — Firefighter/Driver Adrian Russell won the Firefighter of the Year award and a team of five earned the Life Saving Award for their response to a gym emergency where a man suffered a heart problem. • The Idaho House passed a bill on Monday that would let the death penalty be used for adults who abuse children 12 and younger.
