- ➤ Marta and Todd Murdock of Blackfoot are planning to open The Healing Ranch, a care center that will offer a working farm, counseling, and help for veterans, first responders, and people with disabilities. - ➤ One lane of U.S. Highway 95 near milepost 146.5 reopened for local traffic today between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.—flaggers are directing commercial vehicles to turn around while engineers reviewed Wednesday's drill data and expect a retaining wall design by Tuesday with repairs beginning next week and impacts lasting until at least late-April. - ➤ Law enforcement recruits across eastern Idaho can now train at a new peace officer standards and training academy at the college of eastern Idaho. The state post council approved the program on March 20th and it is expected to train 80 to 100 officers each year — local officers say the academy will help streamline the hiring process. KPVI
- ➤ The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an Idaho law that requires public schools to have separate bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, dressing areas, and sleeping areas for boys and girls—allowing the law to be enforced while a lawsuit continues. Attorney General Raúl Labrador said the decision protects all students' privacy and safety. KXPI
