- ➤ Idaho Falls Walmart began remodeling its storefront on March 29 to simplify the checkout process with more staff added+ to assist customers; the store will remain open as the renovations finish mid-April. KXPI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rush's Kitchen Supply Co. (345 Lindsay Blvd) will launch Junior Chef cooking classes for kids 10 to 14, led by retired culinary teacher Colleen Becker; registration opens today at the store or by phone and classes begin Tuesday, June 16 with themes including Indian cuisine. East Idaho News

- ➤ U.S. Census data shows 36 of Idaho’s 44 counties grew in 2025 as nearly two-thirds of new residents settled in the southwest and 90% moved to urban areas. Local officials are now upgrading infrastructure — a response to growth above the national average. KIVI-TV
