- ➤ Idaho Falls Soup Kitchen has stopped serving lunch on Sundays and Mondays, so IFRM (at 380 E Street) is adding lunch options on those days starting this weekend; Soup Kitchen will still serve lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm. KXPI
- ➤ EastIdahoNews.com partnered with Ashley and Ashley Outlet to surprise Tim (a school lunch worker at Elevate Academy East) with a Feel Good Friday honor for his daily handwritten signs that lift students' spirits in Bonneville County. East Idaho News
- ➤ Food truck Rob's Over the Top Sandwiches at 810 West Broadway Street across from Rad Auto Detail Pros serves burgers, inventive sandwiches, and weekly specials. Open since last April, the shop operates Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. East Idaho News

- ➤ Rigby hosted a Chinese cultural night Friday at its high school to celebrate the state’s only K-12 Chinese immersion program — engaging 550 students — with educational displays including terracotta warrior replicas shown by delegates from China’s Embassy in San Francisco. KXPI
- ➤ An internet outage is disrupting service at four west-side school sites — Ethel Boyes Elementary, Eagle Rock Middle, Skyline High, and D91 Transportation — as Idaho Falls Power investigates utility work; district officials say bus routes will remain on schedule while families may have trouble reaching school offices.
