- ➤ A Wednesday crash near Shelley left three people dead when a Ford F-150 crossed the center line on US91 and struck a Honda CRV—two passengers in the Honda died at the scene while the Ford driver later died after hospital treatment as Idaho State Police investigate. KPVI
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Idaho Falls announced that renovations at the Frontier Center for the Performing Arts will begin on April 7 (with construction staging and a temporary fence for safety) and will triple the lobby size, improve drop-off and pick-up areas, and add ADA upgrades such as accessible restrooms and a ramp. The venue will remain open through designated entrances during the work. KXPI
- ➤ The City of Idaho Falls will begin renovations on April 7 at the Frontier Center for the Performing Arts with construction staging, site preparation and a temporary fence — work that will triple the lobby, improve pick-up and drop-off areas and add essential ADA upgrades. - ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department warned drivers that as road work grows with the warmer weather, delays are becoming more common. Sky Buffat said drivers should use zipper merging—staying in both lanes as long as possible—to ease traffic in work zones during the summer. KXPI
- ➤ Governor Brad Little signed a bill that mandates comprehensive civics education and requires every classroom to display the U.S. flag. The law covers lessons on the Constitution, flag history and citizenship—will take effect July 1 for high school courses. KIVI-TV
