- ➤ Today, Bridle Up Hope-Idaho Falls launches a new program that uses horses to build confidence in girls and women through hands-on equestrian training, life skills, and healthy habits. The nonprofit hosts a grand opening from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Champ's Heart (988 South 45th East). East Idaho News
- ➤ The Idaho Falls Zoo will reopen on Thursday, Apr. 16 with new operating hours — Tuesday now extends until 8:00 p.m. — to welcome families to see over 230 animals from more than 90 species. General admission rates will apply. KXPI
- ➤ The Idaho Falls Zoo invites community members to volunteer on April 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help prepare the zoo for the new season at the William J. Maeck Education Center—volunteers should bring their own supplies and complete a volunteer release form. KXPI
- ➤ Abigail, a 2.5-year-old brown Highland heifer, was reported missing Monday at 8:45 p.m. near Mountain Valley Elementary on Sunnyside and 17th Street, and her owner asks anyone who sees her to call (706 513 6142). East Idaho News
