EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Bonneville Joint School District approved a plan that will cut programs if its $19.2 million supplemental levy fails on May 19. The plan will eliminate P.E. and music classes along with gifted programs in the first year and shift all day kindergarten to half day in the second year, with some cuts happening regardless. KPVI

- ➤ On Monday, the director of the Idaho Department of Water Resources declared a drought emergency for all 44 counties due to record low snowpack and a warm winter, and Governor Brad Little approved temporary water rights changes to aid water users.
