- ➤ The Idaho Falls Zoo will open for the 2025 season on April 24—visitors can see over 230 animals from more than 90 species and attend educational programs and special events. The Zoo will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with last admission at 4:30 p.m. East Idaho News
- ➤ Dozens of local volunteers gathered to clean pens, rake grass, and spread mulch at the Idaho Falls Zoo to prepare for its reopening on April 24— the zoo will welcome visitors with over 90 animal species and special wildlife education programs. KXPI

- ➤ A local family said their two-year-old daughter, Lily, finished chemotherapy and had a 12-hour surgery to remove a tumor last week at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center—Dr. William Hammond led the operation. The Cook family is now waiting for blood test results and hopes Lily will be cancer free in time for her birthday at the end of May. East Idaho News
