ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Falls Police Department responded to two crashes over the weekend — one involving a helmetless motorcyclist found unconscious after a DUI crash early Saturday on River Park Way and another where a truck failed to take a turn and struck trees at 425 W 13th Street, leading to a passenger’s death on Sunday evening. - ➤ On Sunday night, shortly after 5 p.m., a truck crashed between two trees at the U.S. Air Conditioning property at 425 West 13th Street, resulting in the death of 49-year-old Jason Mooney and injuring the driver who remains hospitalized—investigators linked the crash to speeding and noted that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
