CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ After nearly a decade in the making, the Frontier Center completed two major improvement projects; the first upgraded the theater in 2019 and a recent expansion (finishing this week) increased the interior to 6,600 sqft and added ADA-compliant restrooms. East Idaho News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Skyline High School canceled classes today for the third day in a row because air conditioning repairs are underway — MarCom advised removing all water from the system — and the district will inform families if schedule adjustments become necessary. East Idaho News
- ➤ Skyline High School remains closed for a third day as District 91 works on repairing its air conditioning system after removing all water. The school will stay closed until the repairs are complete. KXPI
- ➤ The Idaho Falls Symphony Youth Orchestra announced its new leadership for the 2026-2027 season with Ariel Loveland as youth symphony conductor + Melissa Dayley to lead the Philharmonia; auditions will run May 26-28 and Loveland begins her role this spring. East Idaho News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Monday, the city will replace the south side valley gutter, upgrade pedestrian ramps and regrade St. Clair Road at the intersection with John Adams Parkway. St. Clair Road will be closed to through traffic until work ends by May 7th. KPVI

- ➤ Enzo, a five-year-old lab mix transferred from Utah, is featured as Pet of the Week at Snake River Animal Shelter (3000 Lindsay Boulevard). The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday until 5 p.m. East Idaho News
