- ➤ The Idaho Falls Farmers Market will open on Saturday, May 3 at 600 Memorial Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October 25, and has grown to 173 vendors — up from 141 last season — with live entertainment on opening day and more events planned for the season. East Idaho News
- ➤ Broulim’s in Ammon raised over $37,000 in under a month through donations and a portion of store sales and donated the check to the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission. The funding will help serve 80 to 90 meals a night for about two months—an important support for feeding those in need. KXPI

- ➤ Robert Lange’s murder trial is postponed after he waived his right to a speedy trial—he is accused of fatally beating 50-year-old Alejandro Paredes-Hurtado on Oct. 19th near Northgate Mile, with a pre-trial conference at 9:30 a.m. on July 8th and a jury trial at 10 a.m. on July 21st. - ➤ The Eastern Idaho State Fair selected six high school seniors who met the minimum three-year requirement in (4-H and FFA) to receive college scholarships that increased from $1,000 to ($1,500 each). The winners, representing 16 counties, attended a dinner on April 23 to honor their achievements. KXPI
