- ➤ On Saturday, hundreds visited Memorial Drive at the Idaho Falls Farmers Market — shoppers bought baked goods, dog treats, crafts and fused glass artwork. The market will run every Saturday from May to October in downtown Idaho Falls. KXPI
- ➤ Calakas Tacos and Miches owners Liliana and Mito Sanchez are hosting a Cinco de Mayo celebration today at the Waterfront on Snake River Landing at 1220 Event Center Drive, starting at noon. The event will feature music, vendors, food trucks, dances, a mechanical bull, and a truck and car show (with over 100 cars and 30 awards) along with a raffle (with Downtown Bridal and Dress Shop) that is expected to draw around 3,000 community members. - ➤ On Saturday around 4:20 p.m., six local advocates marched across a busy bridge and nearby streets in Idaho Falls to call for access to medicinal cannabis and to oppose House Joint Resolution 4, which would let the legislature control future legalization—organizer Courtney Anderson said the small turnout felt like a step forward in raising awareness.
