  • East Idaho News updated its newsroom as reporter Andrea Olson left to be a stay-at-home mom and David Pace joined Senator Mike Crapo’s team. The outlet hired Idaho Falls native Daniel V. Ramirez and Lisa Lete from Pocatello—while it seeks a full-time news editor and an investigative reporter in Idaho Falls.  East Idaho News
  • IDAHO FALLS is hosting the state’s largest soccer tournament today until Saturday, May 10, with 246 teams from four states and over 400 games scheduled at nine locations, and up to 10,000 players and fans expected to boost the local economy by more than $1 million—adding extra fun with a penalty kick contest and family BBQ.  East Idaho News

  • On March 27, a 19-year-old man in Idaho Falls was charged after allegedly stealing and crashing a 2010 Chevrolet HHR when an officer discovered his citation during a traffic stop & he faces charges of felony burglary, felony grand theft, and misdemeanor petty theft with a court hearing set for 1 p.m. on May 9.  East Idaho News
