- ➤ Idaho Falls Public Library will launch a new drive-thru pick-up service on Monday, May 12 that lets patrons pick up holds from their cars — a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on the library’s east side will feature mayor Rebecca Casper and community officials. KXPI
- ➤ On May 9, Idaho Falls celebrated Arbor Day by planting 17 trees at Heritage Park with students, community members, and city leaders—earning the city its 33rd Tree City USA Award. - ➤ The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare announced changes that will affect thousands of dual plan members who rely on Medicare and Medicaid for assisted living. People aged 21 and older must choose between Molina Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan for IMPlus by May 31 or they will be automatically enrolled in UnitedHealthcare—Blue Cross will leave the network on May 31 and UnitedHealthcare will join on June 1.
