- ➤ On Monday, the 26-foot-long Planters Nutmobile parked at Albertsons in Idaho Falls to hand out free peanut samples and share the snack's history; recent college graduates driving the truck (known as Peanutters) entertained curious locals during their cross-country tour. KXPI
- ➤ A 55-year-old Idaho Falls mother who endured nearly 11 years in a coma died Friday at home surrounded by her family. Her funeral will be held Monday at noon at the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building on Coronado Street. East Idaho News
- ➤ City leaders invite community members to share ideas for a new park planned near the College of Eastern Idaho during today's public event from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the end of Meppen Drive near the community garden. East Idaho News
- ➤ The Idaho Falls Farmers Market returned on Saturday along Memorial Drive — drawing hundreds to shop local foods and handmade products from small businesses across eastern Idaho. New president Landon Knowles said the board will support vendors and keep the market vibrant throughout the summer. KXPI

- ➤ Fred King, a local motorcyclist injured in a crash in July 2024 when a car turned wrong and nearly cost him his life, met the bystanders who saved him yesterday at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and thanked them for their swift aid + shared his progress in recovery. East Idaho News
