- ➤ Lucas Shane James, 40, was charged with felonies including eluding police, unlawful firearm possession, and controlled substance possession after he led officers on a chase through Idaho Falls where a car crash injured an ISP trooper and a civilian driver — police arrested him Saturday evening at a home on the 1700 block of Burlwood Drive and set a $150,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 23. - ➤ A hunter in the Priest Lake drainage mistakenly shot a Grizzly Bear on May 9th when they thought it was a Black Bear—after recognizing the mistake the hunter reported the incident to the Citizens Against Poaching hotline and is cooperating with authorities. KIVI-TV
- ➤ Idaho Falls Police say that Tuesday night near Hoopes and South Woodruff avenues a green Lexus RX clipped a patrol car during a chase and officers arrested Trevor Jenkins, 26, on outstanding warrants and charges including felony eluding police—his preliminary hearing is set for May 28.
