Dozens of volunteers gathered at Idaho Falls High School on May 17th for a mock disaster training exercise with the Bonneville County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) to practice personal preparedness, fire suppression and emergency first aid.

The training also focused on teaching volunteers how to stay calm and handle crises during emergencies.

Dr. Larry Nelson, a local chiropractor, has been charged with three misdemeanor sexual exploitation counts after multiple claims of inappropriate touching during treatments—he denies any misconduct and is set to appear in court on May 27.
