- ➤ Kentucky band Ole 60 will perform at Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls this summer as part of their Off The Grid Tour — tickets are on sale now. The act will join openers during an international tour that spans 38 dates. East Idaho News
- ➤ On Memorial Day, visitors honored local heroes at Field of Honor displays in Idaho Falls and Pocatello. At Century High School, white markers and flags recalled service members’ sacrifices, while 1,000 American flags at Russ Freeman Park supported local veterans groups (a community benefit). - ➤ On Monday, May 25, a reporter toured Idaho Falls Power's hydro plant downtown and learned how the facility uses 6,100+ cubic feet of water per second to generate electricity with rotating blades and flap gates. The tour gave a closer look at daily power production. East Idaho News
- ➤ Gas prices across Idaho plateaued over Memorial Day Weekend with fuel in Idaho Falls averaging about $4.61 a gallon after a 0.2 cent statewide drop, AAA reported. Travelers returning today saw very little change from the prices offered at the start of the holiday. KIVI-TV
