- ➤ Idaho Falls RetroX will return June 20 and 21 from noon to 8:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge—celebrating pop culture with vendors selling vintage collectibles, a cosplay contest, and special guests including Dickey Beer, the Honky Tonk Man, Ryan Bartley and Sean Chiplock. KPVI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Falls School District is hosting a free summer food program for kids one to 18 with meals provided at two sites: Kate Curley Park and Longfellow Elementary. At Kate Curley Park, lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from July 9th to 24th, and at Longfellow Elementary, breakfast is offered from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m. from June 4th to 27th — families can choose the location that best fits their schedule. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Linda Larsen, a long-time local news anchor, announced Tuesday's 5 p.m. news that she was diagnosed with cancer and has started chemotherapy. She said she will work when possible during her treatment and thanked family, doctors and colleagues — showing her determination to fight the disease. KXPI

- ➤ Tuesday night, the Idaho Falls Chukars opened their 6-game home series against the Billings Mustangs and rallied from a 3 to 0 deficit to lead 13 to 10 by the top of the 9th — after winning a 5 to 1 series against the Boise Hawks on the road — showing a strong start to their season. KXPI
- ➤ Tuesday afternoon, the Annual Special Olympics Torch Run took place starting at the Waterfront Event Center and ending at Teton Toyota. The run involved law enforcement agencies (Idaho State Police, Pocatello Police, Idaho Falls Police, Bonneville County Sheriffs Office) and raised funds and awareness for the Special Olympics (June 6-7 in Nampa).
