- ➤ The Idaho Falls Police Department is searching for vulnerable adult Froilan Carranza, who was reported missing yesterday and last seen on May 22 while he walked through town. He is 5'6" and weighs 130 pounds — he was last seen wearing torn blue jeans, blue and white Nike shoes, a white t-shirt and a black hoodie. KXPI

- ➤ Idaho Falls RetroX will be held at the Elks Lodge on June 20–21 and will be the biggest yet with over 70 vendors from across the intermountain west and a star-studded lineup including voice actors, WWE legends, and guests from a galaxy far far away. The event will feature Kid Con, Artist Alley, a new Food Truck Food Court and interactive costuming groups—plus a cosplay contest offering prizes and ticket discounts for a donated canned good to support the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Falls residents need a permit from the city to build fences, decks, patios or install solar panels. A fence permit costs $5 and other permits are higher and can take up to 10 business days for approval — the fees and time depend on project size. KXPI
- ➤ The project to replace the Sandcreek bridge on 17th Street in Ammon began in mid-January (with D L Beck, Inc. as the contractor) and will be finished before July 4, with asphalt filling scheduled for mid-June (weather permitting). Pedestrians are warned to stay clear of the construction area near the Albertson's entrance. KXPI
