ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out on the 3000 block of Lorna Avenue in Bonneville County, severely damaging two homes and a camper trailer with no injuries reported as the fire was contained around 4:30 p.m. — cause and damage cost remain unknown.  East Idaho News

CRIME NEWS

  • An Idaho Falls man has been charged with three counts of burglary and one count of felony grand theft after allegedly stealing over $5,000 worth of items from a local storage unit; Stephen J. Saxey, 41, is set to appear before a magistrate on June 20 at 1 p.m.—if convicted, he could face up to 44 years in prison and additional fines and restitution.  East Idaho News

  • According to AAA Idaho, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Idaho was $3.29, down slightly from last week and 35 cents less than a year ago. Fuel demand eased, stocks increased, and refineries ran over 93% capacity — though prices are expected to rise as summer travel increases.  East Idaho News
