  • On June 28, hundreds of locals gathered for eastern Idaho's largest Pride parade that marched from the Universal Unitarian Church to the Westbank Convention Center+returned to a festival with live music, vendors and crafts. Activists said the event helped community members feel supported and confident while uniting people who face discrimination+empowering everyone to be themselves.  East Idaho News
  • On Saturday, community events in Eastern Idaho drew large crowds as hundreds visited the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Farmers Market to celebrate Pride Month and enjoy local food and crafts—dozens also gathered in Shelley for the Motorized Marvels Car Show to see vintage vehicles from as early as the 1930s and join raffles and judging contests.  KXPI

  • Idaho Falls residents can join guided tours of the historic cabin on Keefer’s Island, offered by the Museum of Idaho in partnership with Snake River Ferry and Parks and Recreation on July 11, 12, 18, and 19. The 45-minute tours include a scenic ferry ride along the Snake River to see the cabin built by renowned local Fred Keefer—an important figure in the early days of our community.  East Idaho News
