Local shelter Aid for Friends is hosting a ceremony on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:00 a.m. at 209 East Lewis to dedicate their building in honor of former director BJ Stensland — special guest speakers, refreshments and music will mark the event.

The Idaho Falls Arts Council, with support from local sponsors, is hosting a free Party in the Park featuring nationally touring family band Big Bang Boom tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Funland in Tautphaus Park.
