- ➤ Between July 24 and Oct. 1, the Idaho Falls Police Department has hosted and will host four community events at local restaurants to foster dialogue between officers and residents (the Ice Cream with the Police event was held on July 24 at Reed’s Dairy) and will feature Pizza with the Police on Sept. 3, Bagels with the Blue on Sept. 6, and Coffe + with a Cop on Oct. 1 (food is provided while supplies last). - ➤ The Bonneville County Fair will run from July 31st through August 7th at the county fairgrounds. The event will feature community focus days from August 1st to 3rd — local vendors, food trucks, a ranch rodeo, a farm life 5k fun run, a Home Depot kids workshop, livestock shows and a car show. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A vehicle collision occurred Thursday, July 24th at 5:24 p.m. on US 20 at mile marker 308 (in Bonneville County) when a 2005 Pontiac struck the rear of a 2015 Ford Transit van; the 57-year-old driver was seriously injured and taken to a hospital while the 35-year-old driver was not transported. - ➤ Lori Vallow Daybell, already serving life sentences in Idaho for three murders, returns to court today for sentencing on two Arizona conspiracy convictions & she could receive two additional life sentences. KIVI-TV
