- ➤ The Haderlie Family Farm in Bonneville County, established in 1915, was named an official Idaho Century Farm by the Idaho State Historical Society and the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, recognizing its over 100-year legacy of continuous family farming. Fourth-generation farmer Dustin Haderlie now manages more than 1,000 acres as the family continues its long tradition on the fertile land — a tribute to enduring agricultural heritage. - ➤ College of Eastern Idaho announced a new Associate of Arts in Education program to meet high local demand for teachers and ease transfer into four-year degrees starting this fall. - ➤ Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center held a beam signing event Thursday morning to mark the start of constructing a new free-standing emergency room building—10,820 square feet in size—near Costco at Lincoln Road and 25th East. The $15 million project will finish in early 2026 and will offer 10 exam rooms, lab and imaging services, plus round-the-clock emergency care with patients needing hospital admission or surgery transferred to the main campus. - ➤ Mountain View Hospital will open a new outpatient building at 2235 E 25th Street on August 11 to offer enhanced imaging services such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and mammograms—this location is part of a plan to meet the growing needs of Idaho Falls patients.
