- ➤ Eastern Idaho rancher Hagen Erickson said scammers stole his online identity while he was out of cell service, causing about $5000 to vanish from his friends and customers—Local News 8 will examine the case Wednesday and Thursday night at 6 p.m. as law enforcement and the FBI work to respond. - ➤ The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said that thefts from storage units, vehicles, and small buildings occurred in Idaho Falls and Ammon on August 13th—tools, a 1980s Honda CR60 motorcycle and fishing gear were among the items taken, and residents are urged to secure their property and call 208-529-1200 if they see suspicious activity.
