- ➤ Community members are rallying to raise $75K for an experimental stem cell treatment for Tanner Scoresby, an 18-year-old battling T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma after failing standard chemotherapy and radiation. Tanner will leave for Arizona this weekend for the urgent treatment as his condition worsens—local donations and fundraisers are filling the gap left by insurance. East Idaho News

- ➤ This September the Museum of Idaho will host two well-known Egyptologists as part of its Mummies of the World exhibit in Idaho Falls — Dr. Bob Brier and Patricia Remler will lead talks and Q&A sessions during a screening of The Mummy on September 5 and an evening talk on the making of MUMAB on September 6.
