The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho opened a new self-guided audio tour exhibit called Make Your Mark: A Celebration of Process, Passion, and Possibility that features local artists working in acrylic, watercolor and mixed media with recorded interviews; yesterday, the museum hosted the Rolling on the River event—where a steamroller was used to print large woodblock prints that brought art lovers together.

On Aug. 28, the Idaho Falls City Council approved a balanced $389.6 million fiscal year budget that funds essential services and operations across 11 departments.

The plan provides nearly $111.4 million for capital projects — including an airport terminal expansion — and supports pay and benefit adjustments for the city workforce.
