- ➤ Local dog owners attended the first Bark in the Park event at a Saturday night baseball game as the Chukars played the Ogden Raptors. The event offered dog-friendly spaces—water bowls, toys and free pup cups—and was sponsored by Hops N’ Paws Dog Park & Taphouse. East Idaho News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game has issued a fish salvage order through Oct. 31 for the flatwater portion of Mackay Reservoir—located about 1.5 hours northeast of Idaho Falls—as the Big Lost River Irrigation District drains the reservoir for dam maintenance and future upgrades. Anglers with valid licenses may harvest fish without bag or possession limits except by using firearms, explosives, chemicals, or electric current. East Idaho News
