- ➤ On September 12th, over 200 community members gathered outside the Bonneville County Fire District No. 1 in Ammon to unveil a new 9/11 monument honoring nearly 3,000 victims—featuring the last piece of steel from the Twin Towers. Captain Kevin Calhoun of the New York Fire Department helped secure the steel—ensuring the monument’s unique role in remembering that tragic day. East Idaho News

- ➤ The Idaho Commission on the Arts is investing nearly $750,000 in local arts organizations, schools and school districts to support art education, performances and exhibitions in southeastern Idaho—this grant aims to keep cultural traditions accessible for Idahoans.
