  • Melaleuca employees left work early Thursday to clean up the Snake River at Freeman Park and give walkers a better view—this was their third annual volunteer project with Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation.  KXPI
  • Last night at Ravsten Stadium, the 60th annual Emotion Bowl between Idaho Falls High School and Skyline High School united fans and local businesses, who showed support by painting windows+ residents noted the strong community tradition that began in 1966 when Skyline split from Idaho Falls High School. The game brought the longstanding rivalry to the forefront and added excitement for all involved.  KXPI
  • Jeff at Limitless Electronics in Idaho Falls helped a woman change a flat tire on Friday, Sept. 5 (just before 4:30 p.m.) and he received a Feel Good Friday surprise after Kristi nominated him for his kind act.   • Local organizers from Legalize Idaho are hosting an educational open house on cannabis today from 1 p.m.—5 p.m. at the Heart Event Center at 755 South Capital Avenue; the event aims to raise awareness about the substance and discuss Idaho HJR 4, a bill that would bar citizen votes on marijuana policy.  East Idaho News

  • Ellen DeGeneres honored Tayt Andersen—a 19-year-old guest from Rigby—after he passed away on September 26 from complications of cancer and a recent infection; he had undergone 12 surgeries as a child and his family said he died peacefully, surrounded by love.  KXPI
