- ➤ Just4Kidds Pediatric Dentistry at 929 South Utah Avenue in Idaho Falls will host its Halloween Candy Buy-Back event on November 3 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.—children can donate up to 5 pounds of candy for $2 per pound and receive a free toothbrush plus a restaurant voucher. The program, which sends unwanted candy overseas through Operation Gratitude, raised over 500 pounds last year. East Idaho News

- ➤ Mary and James Peterson, who left military service for a new career, opened Stella's Ice Cream in Ammon on Oct.2 as the franchise's first eastern Idaho location and have received strong support from local customers.
