- ➤ A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million in gifts to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season—gifts will be delivered daily by the East Idaho News elves until year’s end. One recipient, 85-year-old Sharon Wilson, lost her adult son last week and struggled to afford his cremation until the Secret Santa stepped in with help. East Idaho News
- ➤ The Fall Bazaar Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Bonneville High School from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. — the free event will offer a 15-dollar cash gift card giveaway to 15 winners and free cinnamon rolls for the first 100 shoppers. It will also feature 120 vendors, including 30 new spots after a school remodel — celebrating 15 years of the beloved local event. East Idaho News
- ➤ The city of Ammon is hosting its annual Nogathon on Saturday, Nov. 8 at McCowin Park, where participants will drink eggnog and run four laps to kick off the holidays. Check-in starts at 1 p.m. and the fun run features a noncompetitive race — many runners even dress in costumes. East Idaho News

- ➤ The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls received a grant from the CHC Foundation to start building its new education center—adding classrooms, studios, and a gallery to boost art classes and community programs. Museum director Alexa Stanger said the funding is a vote of confidence in the museum’s future. KXPI
