- ➤ A dump truck hit a utility pole Friday, November 7—knocking down more equipment and leaving 20 customers without power in the area between Ray Street, Grace Avenue, and Lola Street; crews from Idaho Falls Power are working to restore full service in 10 to 12 hours. KXPI
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Nearly two years after a devastating fire, Reed's Dairy is opening its new facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 14th at 2 p.m. — President Alan Reed will speak during the event — and public tours will be offered Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon to show how the facility produces its milk, ice cream, and other products. - ➤ Stella’s Ice Cream opened last month by owners James and Mary Peterson and quickly became a local favorite near the new McDonald’s on Ammon Road and Lincoln Road in Idaho Falls. The shop offers handcrafted flavors — from the coffee-flavored All Nighter to kid-approved Cookie Monster — and plans to launch a holiday lineup soon. East Idaho News
