- ➤ Idaho Falls Fire Department and IAFF Local 1565 launched the Fill the Ambulance toy drive on November 21 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission by asking community members to donate new, unwrapped toys. The drive runs until December 12 and will conclude with a decorated ambulance joining a final parade and car show on December 13 — the car show starts at 4 p.m. and the parade at 5 p.m. at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. - ➤ Grand Teton Council of Scouting America will host its sixth annual Corporate Pinewood Derby at the Blue Cross Conference Center on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. to raise funds for Scouting and to donate $1,000 to a local charity chosen by the winner—companies and individuals can register by calling (208) 522-5155.
