  • An Idaho Falls Power lineman rescued a cat stuck on a Fremont Avenue power pole last night after local residents reported the high-voltage danger on social media—IFP completed the rescue without cutting power to nearby homes.  KXPI

EDUCATION NEWS

  • At Lighthouse Montessori School in Idaho Falls, a wild turkey that had visited campus since early October entered a classroom during the Thanksgiving feast last Friday and accepted pieces of bread from students—she is now welcomed as a friendly guest on campus—while staff plan a new name for her. The school hopes the turkey will eventually lay eggs and become a regular campus visitor.  KXPI

  • A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to eastern Idaho residents by delivering daily gifts from now until the end of the year to support those facing financial burdens from serious health issues. Ambrosia has battled life-threatening lung problems since birth & now needs a double lung transplant while high medical and living costs continue & community relief offers a ray of hope.  East Idaho News
