- ➤ Scott, recovering from a kidney transplant, visited Great Harvest at 8 a.m. daily in downtown and brightened the day with kind gestures — EastIdahoNews.com partnered with Ashley and Ashley Outlet to surprise him on Feel Good Friday. East Idaho News
- ➤ Over 30 pinewood derby cars raced Monday night in Idaho Falls, reaching speeds over 100 mph (in 1/10th scale) to compete for a $1,000 charity donation. The event organized by the Grand Teton Council of Scouting America raised funds for local scouts and featured XP League as a main sponsor. East Idaho News
- ➤ Local firefighters need unwrapped toys to fill an ambulance for kids. A drop-off event is held today at Firehose Car Wash from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, and toys may be dropped at any fire station until Dec. 12; the ambulance will join the RMHC Light Parade on Dec. 13. KXPI
- ➤ Students at Ethel Boyes Elementary are looking for missing Giving Tree wish tags that were inadvertently taken by voters during the Idaho Falls run-off election on Tuesday — the school urges anyone with a tag to call 208-525-7630 so that all 71 students have a full Christmas. KXPI

- ➤ The Sand Gators, a psychedelic R&B band from Reno, will perform at the Celt Pub and Grill on Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. They will play two to three sets of mostly original music with a few covers (including Led Zeppelin) as they debut in Idaho Falls. East Idaho News
- ➤ A Winter’s Night Christmas Concert will perform at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls on Dec. 16 (doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.) and will hold additional shows at the Romance Theater in Rexburg on Dec. 17 and 18, with tickets costing $15. East Idaho News
