  • Idaho Falls resident McKenna Christensen, who was adopted in 1997 from Moldova, found new evidence through a Facebook group (which connected her with a biological niece) that raised questions about her early orphanage experience, and she will travel to Moldova in April to reunite with her biological family.  East Idaho News

  • Idaho Falls High School was named the top high school in the area by U.S. News & World Report’s 2025-2026 rankings. The school offers 11 AP courses and 21 dual enrollment classes among 19 regional high schools, reflecting its strong academic reputation.  KXPI

  • Families affected by kratom are urging lawmakers to act after a deadly overdose claimed 23-year-old Kielee Rustici in March. Local officials and victims' loved ones plan to push for stronger regulation as kratom continues to be sold in Idaho stores.  KIVI-TV

  • Sixteen high school basketball teams, eight boys and eight girls, are set to play today at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls in the TitleOne Tip-Off Classic.
