- ➤ The Idaho Falls Fire Department opened Fire Station 6 at 2767 N. Spitfire St on Tuesday, Dec. 23. It will be fully operational on Jan. 5, 2026 and will house a Class 1 fire engine and an ALS ambulance to serve the growing north side. KXPI
